John Burt d 1780 Cumberland County, NC is
the earliest ancestor documented in my research. Many of the descendants
of this John Sr. migrated to the Southern states. My ancestors migrated
from Cumberland County NC to Franklin County, TN ca 1825, then to Denton
County, TX around the late 1860's or early 1870's. In the late 1890's
many settled in the Seminole/Pottawatomie Counties in OK.
