The second son to AB and Katie, Alfred Nolan Joseph Burt was born Oct 03, 1905 . He married Jewel Helm. Joe and Jewel had a son, Billy Joe,  in 1928. I remember going to their house as a child.. Uncle Jody's den was full of stuffed animals he had hunted and taken to the taxidermist. The first pheasant I ever tasted was given to us by Joe. At a time when I was small, Uncle Jody raised fighting cocks. I remember seeing them. Jody was a barber for many years.

At a later time, Joe and Jewel both worked for the Federal Government. When they retired, they moved back to the Shawnee area where they lived until Joe passed away and Jewel moved into a rest home.

Billy Joe Burt was born in 1928. He had a formal education and was  successful. He was married three times, and had three sons by his  first and second wives.  He died of lung cancer too young, at 44.
