Loyd was the third son of Katie and A.B. He lived in Shawnee, like most of the siblings did at one time or another. He was in the freight damaged resale business, and his store was a delight!! I loved to go there and look through the tremendous inventory to see what new treasures he had found. Loyd was a 32nd degree mason, Baptist, and a democrat. He married Jewel Gentry in 1940.
They lived in Shawnee all the time I knew them, and there raised three great kids I adored. Pete, and his two sisters.
