Cothern, Cauthern, Cauthen, etc., etc., etc.,!!!

Several years ago, when trying to research Newton T. Cothern, I was given the address of Maryline Cauthen Westerhaver. She is the author of an excellent book on the Cauthens. She was kind enough to respond with the following information which perhaps can assist the researchers of this particular family. It gave me the most information I have found, even to this date.
