Joseph Lincoln and Sarah Harris Lowe

Joseph Lincoln Lowe was born October 25, 1860 in KS or IN. He was the son of William and Mary Catharine Dimmitt Lowe. He married Sarah J. Harris December 25, 1883 in Falls city, Richardson county, NE. She was the daughter of John and Margrete Elizabeth Stansberry Harris.

To this union was born two sons. Thomas Franklin and Bert. The Lowes established a home about 4 miles north of Meeker OK probably around 1900. They gave each of their sons 40 acres and a house on their property when they married. Tom Lowe married Lucy Wilkerson in 1906 in Chandler OK, and they remained and raised their five children there. (Francis) Bert married Rosa Rogg, in KS, but they moved and, raised their five children in Meeker, OK.
