Amanda Jane Wilkerson was the eldest child of James P. and Laurie Ann Wilkerson. She was born 1839 in Marion County, KY. She migrated, along with her parents to Crawford County, MO by 1850. Then on to Camden County, MO. She married Peter Warden P. Rowland about 1860 in MO. They had children:
Peter died 1868 Camden County, MO Amanda married Samuel J. Crocker ca 1872 in Camden County, MO. They had the following children:

Amanda is buried in the Denver, OK (Cleveland County) cemetery.
