Calvin Wilkerson




			Calvin Wilkerson was born about 1824 in (possibly Casey Cty?) KY. He married Lucy Johnson Bennett May 23, 1847 in Benton, Franklin county, IL. In 1850, he, his young wife and two sons, one a tiny infant, traveled to Crawford County, MO to join "J" believed James (the elder), assumed to be his father, and James (the younger), his brother. Sometime later, they all moved to Camden County, MO. Calvin lived out the rest of his days there and died October 18, 1880. Lucy went to Cleveland County Oklahoma sometime later, lived until January 19, 1911,and is buried in the Denver cemetery, near Norman in Cleveland County, OK. Calvin fought in the Union Army. His records show he was in Capt Harrison's Co. (F), Osage County Reg't, MO. H.G.
